We work closely with residents, businesses, developers, community groups and visitors to ensure decisions are informed, effective and sound, that community resources and public services are worn equally and in an environmentally responsible way. The Operational Plan sets out the Key Actions City of Parramatta will undertake and the financial resources and projects allocated to 201617 financial year. The objective of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAM) is to guide the financial and physical requirements for the performance of City of Parramatta's infrastructure, building and land wealth into the tomorrow to urge the aspirations for Parramatta and City of Parramatta’s service commitments. City of Parramatta works hard to improve its culture as an organization and to build the capacity required to deliver the best conceivable services to its community and is a reflection of what we have achieved during the financial year 201415. City of Parramatta plays a major role in revitalizing the local government area, providing more than 40 services to improve the quality of life for its residents and to make Parramatta a vast deposit to live, work, play and invest. The City has transformed its neighborhoods and city centers and now manages and offers many services such as: City of Parramatta has over 700 staff, who bear services to Parramatta’s 178,00 residents and programs which assist our city center and culturally diverse neighborhoods grow and become more beautiful places. The Camellia precinct is one of the maximum urgent employment land precincts in Metropolitan Sydney, with huge strategic value in terms of its size, location, activity and opportunities for coming development and renewal. The Land Use Infrastructure Strategy identifies a vision for the Camellia precinct over the after 20 years and provides opportunities for a fresh town center including fresh homes and jobs. It also focuses on intensifying employment opportunities and identifying the type of infrastructure and services required to promote coming growth. Following the rezoning, City of Parramatta Council is now the planning authority for the precinct. Our work spans across a variety of areas, including urban design, land use planning, precinct planning, CAD planning, social outcomes, economic development, environmental outcomes and transport planning. Parramatta City Council plays a strategic role in creating partnerships, advocating in the interests of the City and running projects and events that move Parramatta closer to the goal of being Australia’s next major CAD. City of Parramatta develops fresh transport initiatives and prepares policies, plans and strategies to guide and urge the strategic direction of our City and beyond. Parramatta is located at the geographical center of Sydney and is a focus for employment, housing, amusement and cultural opportunities. City of Parramatta is an ambassador for the preservation and continuity of our city ensuring that heritage items are protected and exist for future generations.
